How it all began
FamilyBooks was born from a personal loss.
A few years ago, our founder, Mat, lost someone who meant everything to him.
With that loss, stories that were never told also disappeared: childhood memories, unshared dreams, everyday moments that today would be invaluable.
It wasn't just the absence that left a mark, but the regret of not having asked more questions.
Of not having listened more attentively.
Of having thought there would always be “more time.”
From that feeling, a simple yet powerful idea was born:
to create a space where family stories could be told, preserved, and passed down.
What we do
We design guided journals that help open meaningful conversations between generations.
